THS May Consultant of the Month

Brian Hall, who is currently food and beverage manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Milwaukee Brookfield at Poplar Creek in Brookfield, Wisconsin, is recognized for his flexibility, leadership and commitment to helping hotel teams succeed. Since joining THS in 2023, he has completed 19 assignments and consistently stepped into properties ready to make an immediate impact.

A career built through hospitality operations

Brian’s hospitality journey began in the 1990s while working at a hotel front desk during high school, where he discovered how much he enjoyed working with guests and being part of hotel operations. Since then, he has built a long career in hospitality.

Throughout his career, Brian has held a wide range of leadership positions, including assistant general manager, director of operations, director of food and beverage, director of banquets, director of front office and director of outlets, food and beverage management. His broad operational background allows him to adapt quickly and support properties across multiple disciplines.

Impact through task force leadership

Brian values the opportunity to step into hotels, strengthen operations and help teams continue improving after his THS task force assignment ends.

He is known for doing whatever is needed to support the success of the property and the team. His hands-on leadership style, operational experience and willingness to jump in where needed have made him a trusted resource across assignments.

What drives Brian

Brian credits his success to dedication, adaptability and maintaining a positive outlook both personally and professionally. He enjoys the opportunity to travel, experience new places and take on new challenges through task force work.

Originally from upstate New York, Brian enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, relaxing at the pool or beach and being with friends and family.

Brian’s advice to fellow consultants

Brian encourages others to embrace the opportunity to travel, experience different environments, continue growing professionally and support hotels that need assistance.
