THS July Consultant of the Month
Fedny "Fritz" Petit-Frere, front desk supervisor at the Marriott Boston Quincy, is recognized as our July Consultant of the Month for his warmth, energy and genuine passion for hospitality. Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he brings a people-first approach to every assignment and has built a reputation for creating meaningful connections with both guests and hotel teams. His professionalism, adaptability and positive attitude continue to make a lasting impact wherever he serves.
A career built on service and connection
Fritz this year celebrates nine years in the hospitality industry and four years with THS. His career began on the restaurant side of customer service before transitioning into hotels, where his outgoing personality and natural ability to connect with guests quickly became one of his greatest strengths.
His hotel career started on Mackinac Island, Michigan, where he discovered his passion for hospitality and the many moving parts that make hotel operations so rewarding. Since then, he has continued to grow through a variety of front office leadership positions, including night auditor, night audit supervisor, night audit manager, front desk supervisor and front office manager.
Making an impact through task force leadership
One of the aspects Fritz enjoys most about being a THS consultant is the opportunity to travel, support different hotel teams and experience a variety of properties. While travel has been a rewarding part of his career, he believes the greatest benefit has been the relationships he has built along the way.
Fritz also values the support he receives from THS, knowing there is always someone available to provide guidance and encouragement when challenges arise. That partnership has helped him continue to grow while confidently supporting hotels across the country.
Life outside the assignment
Outside of work, Fritz enjoys staying active through basketball, football and jogging. He also would love to join a recreational baseball league. As the youngest of five children and a twin, family remains an important part of his life and continues to shape the values he brings to both his personal and professional relationships.
Fritz's advice to fellow consultants
Fritz believes success begins with loving what you do and approaching each assignment with an open mind. His advice is to take each day one step at a time, remember the purpose behind your role, never be afraid to ask questions and treat every assignment as an opportunity to learn something new. He also encourages others not to take challenges personally and never underestimate the impact of a smile and a positive attitude.
